Dyer Davis, Northside Tavern — Florida blues/rocker Davis appears for a rare two-night stand at this legendary venue. He mixes harder-edged, thumping, Molly Hatchet-styled Southern rock with riffy Brit influences (think Jeff Beck, Cream, Rolling Stones) for a roaring attack that should shake some dust off the Northside’s walls. Davis’ 2023 debut rose to #6 on Billboard’s Blues Chart but he’ll surely feature music from the recently released follow-up, Kiss the Ring, which also displays his softer, ballad oriented and country side. — Hal Horowitz
