Event Description

Sweet Lizzy Project is a genre-defying alt-rock band originally from Havana, Cuba, now based in Nashville. With powerful bilingual vocals, anthemic soundscapes, and an electrifying live presence, SLP blends cinematic rock with Latin soul — channeling influences from Foo Fighters, Coldplay and Alanis Morissette to Cuban legends like Buena Vista Social Club and Benny Moré.
Led by dynamic frontwoman Lisset Díaz and producer/guitarist Miguel Comas, the band has toured across the U.S., opened for icons like Heart and Joan Jett, and performed at major festivals including Live on the Green, Mile of Music, and Riverbend.
Their new album, Objects in Mirrors Are Closer Than They Appear, tells the story of their post-immigration journey — a raw, vulnerable, and empowering record about identity, survival, and artistic rebirth.
