CAST BREAKDOWN: 3 women, 3 men

• Students of all pathways, genders, ethnicities, and abilities are encouraged to audition.

WHAT TO PREPARE:
The audition will consist of cold readings from the script.

• BRING YOUR CALENDAR OF ALL CONFLICTS THROUGH 11/9/25.

This includes school, work, weddings, family gatherings, etc.

THE PLAY: Inspired by the 2006 Jena Six case in Louisiana when six Black students were charged with attempted murder after a school fight provoked by a racist act, the play weaves a powerful story of racial injustice, fractured kinship, and the wounds that still bleed beneath the surface of American Life.

PERFORMANCE DATES:

Oct 31-Nov 2 & Nov 7-9 2025
Rehearsals begin Sept 8, 2025

• GSU students (cast or crew) must sign up for Theatre Practicum, a 1 credit hour course.
