We are kicking off our birthday just like we did on opening day in 1935 with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in Top Hat. See it at 2 p.m., the exact same time The Strand first lit up the screen 90 years ago. Relive the glamour, the music, and the magic that started it all.

About Top Hat: An American dancer comes to Britain and falls for a model whom he initially annoyed, but she mistakes him for his goofy producer.The story centers on wealthy Dale Tremont (Ginger Rogers), on holiday in London and Venice. She assumes that American entertainer Jerry Travers (Fred Astaire) is the husband of her friend Madge (Helen Broderick) - who's actually the wife of Jerry's business manager Horace Hardwick (Edward Everett Horton).
