The Nude Party, The Masquerade - Few would have put bets on this seven-piece collective of scraggly country music loving garage rockers making it for a few years, let alone 13. But now, back in the indie world after New West closed out their hand, The Nude Party's recently released fourth album, pointedly titled Look Who's Back, is proof these guys are just as committed to their rough-around-the-edges music as when they first convened in 2013. A new press release states "This is our Thin Lizzy Jailbreak moment," referencing another band that didn't make much of an impression until six years into their run. Hopefully that statement proves true because they deserve the accolades for banging out a non-commercial yet charming combination of indie rock and roll, country and even a little glam.
