Truckadelic at Star Community Bar

CRITIC’S PICK
Sun., Oct. 11
Truckadelic, Rod Hamdallah, Star Bar — Atlanta’s mid-‘90s Redneck Underground veterans Truckadelic make intermittent return performances, usually once a year. This is a rare one and probably your only chance to catch frontman Ted Weldon’s proudly garage/punk-inflected country rocking outfit for the foreseeable future. Reconnect with your Star Bar buddies, those still around, for what will surely be a joyous, rollicking, perhaps chaotic reunion, in all the best ways. For a fuller understanding of the band and their place in Atlanta’s music scene, check out Tony Paris’ 2017 piece here: https://creativeloafing.com/content-168244-high-frequencies-truckadelic-s-last . — Hal Horowitz.
