Funichios is an Atlanta club popular in the 1970s where a lot of emerging southern rock bands would play. Located on Peachtree in Midtown, this was a place where you could see Lynyrd Skynrd live when they would drive in from Jacksonville. Many of the bands would stay at the Hotel Clermont when in Atlanta as the rent was cheap and the location easy to get to from the club.
