This year's Decibel Magazine Tour pairs four juggernauts of international metal into one macabre caravan that stops at the Masquerade this Saturday (March 19).

Headliner and former Immortal lead singer Abbath has flown solo for nearly a year now, his reign plumbing the depths of evil with the January release of his self-titled debut album. This is a rare chance to see genuine Norwegian black metal performed by one of the genre’s best-known front men.

Tour mates High on Fire need no introduction. Check out Crib Notes Q&A with Matt Pike Crib Notes from last August. It might sway your vote in November.

Melodic death and thrash metal vets Skeletonwitch bring a slightly new look and sound to the Decibel Tour. Wolvhammer vocalist Adam Clemans was introduced earlier this year as the replacement for original singer Chance Garnette. If last month's clips unveiled by Blabbermouth are any indication, Clemans has the chops to fill his predecessor's shoes.

Rounding out the lineup is the Swedish black and death metal sounds of Tribulation. Considering the group’s fixation with horror films and the grave, it's no surprise that its cover of the Misfits’ “Death Comes Ripping,” from a flexi disc sent out last month to Decibel subscribers, truly rips.
