See & Do - Festival: Georgia Renaissance Festival April 11 2007
Sat., April 14
Huzzah, sirrah: The GEORGIA RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL (left) returns for the merriment of saucy wenches and stout yeomen from hither and yon. Beginning Sat., APRIL 14, and continuing weekends through June 3, the recreation of a 16th-century European country fair features shoppes, jousting exhibitions, belly dancers, jugglers, a sword swallower, hundreds of costumed characters and plenty of Henry VIII-sized turkey legs. Know ye that all daggers and swords must be properly sheathed and peace-tied, and that the premises features two ATMs, which convert plastic to currency through some kind of alchemy. $8.50-$16.95. Sat.-Sun., 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Fairburn/Peachtree City, Exit 61 off I-85. 770-964-8575. www.garenfest.com.
