Omnivore - Baroni pleases the Brookwood crowd

The new restaurant replaces Wolfgang Puck Express

I’ve dined three times at Baroni, the new restaurant from the owners of Baraonda, this week. One of the most attractive offerings is a selection of mozzarellas with various accompaniments, like this imported  bufala with speck, arugula and basil.

The new restaurant, which seems to be a hit with the neighborhood crowd, replaces the greatly disregarded Wolfgang Puck Express. The interior architecture remains about the same but the look is improved.

I haven’t ordered anything I didn’t enjoy at Baroni and I’ve sampled pizza, panini, pasta, a chicken cutlet and bruschetta besides the mozzarella. Look for more in “Grazing” later this week.
