Filo’s, a Greek counter service restaurant, will open in June in Buckhead’s Chastain Square shopping center in the former Café Ago space. The new resto will be a casual neighborhood diner with patio service offering pitas stuffed with roasted vegetables and unprocessed spitfire rotisserie lamb, chicken, and pork along with traditional Greek spanakopita and tiropita.

Atlanta Candy Bar, a candy store that will offer liquor-infused treats, is slated to open Fri., May 27 at 171 Auburn Ave. beneath City Walk Apartments. The selection of confections will include candy cubes (ice cubes with candy frozen inside), cupcakes, dessert kabobs, candy drinks, cake jars, ice cream cupcakes, a chocolate fountain, and 24 topping options, according to What Now Atlanta.

Chef Duane Nutter has left One Flew South after almost 10 years as executive chef. A restaurant rep cited the chef’s desire to "pursue new career paths" as his reason for leaving.

L.A.’s Jinya Ramen Bar will begin service on Fri., June 10 at 5975 Roswell Road, Suite B217, in Sandy Springs. Founder Tomonori Takahashi’s menus include the tonkotsu black with pork chashu, fried onion, and garlic oil and the spicy creamy vegan with vegetable broth, tofu, chili oil, and thick noodles.

Sage Woodfire Tavern will replace Chequers Seafood + Steak in Merchants Festival Shopping Center at the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Roswell Roads in East Cobb. Chequers East will close on Wed., May 25, and Sage Woodfire Tavern could open as early as July, according to Tomorrow’s News Today.

South Carolina chain Groucho’s Deli is planning to open its first ATL store but hasn’t revealed a location or timeframe, according to What Now Atlanta. In the meantime, Groucho’s is using social media to drum up interest.
