HORRORS OF OLD HOLLYWOOD HALLOWEEN PARTY Lost-n-Found Youth, a nonprofit organization focused on helping homeless LGBT youth, is throwing a Halloween party in its consignment shop. HALLOWINE Supporting our furry friends is as simple as sipping on unlimited wine and craft beer tastings while rocking out to live music. OWL O WEEN Those of all ages are welcome to attend the activity-packed, whimsical playground that is a two-day festival featuring live music, food vendors, costume showdowns, trick-or-treating and tethered balloon rides. $6-$49. BOO AT THE ZOO Zoo Atlanta presents four days of adventure in the whimsical zoo boo town. More than 1,000 unique animals and a variety of activities welcome all for a fun-packed day. NETHERWORLD Consistently one of the nation’s top haunted houses, Netherworld welcomes visitors to meander through the labyrinth of fright as monsters of all species do their best to make you scream for your mommy. DAY OF THE DEAD Traditional crafts, dancing, entertainment and authentic Mexican food are available. WALKER STALKER CON You won’t have to be a stalker to meet your favorite actor at Walker Stalker Con. SUNDAY SUPPER SOUTH Chefs Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison host the eighth annual James Beard Foundation benefit, where several award-winning chefs from across the South take over Ponce City Market to provide dinner for a cause. SLEEPY HOLLOW EXPERIENCE Serenbe Playhouse’s Brian Clowdus creates a fresh adaptation to Sleepy Hollow, originally a short story of speculative fiction by Washington Irving. HALLOWEEN HIKES A cool breeze and autumn leaves surround visitors of the forest on this adventure. Children are welcomed to this well-lit hike into the woods to meet woodland creatures and understand their way of life. YULE FOREST PUMPKIN PATCH A variety of activities welcomes those of all ages to the Grant family’s educational farm. Home to one of the largest pumpkin patches in Georgia, visitors can find the perfect pumpkin for carving. Guests can enjoy a hay maze and a petting zoo. Free-$10. Oct.1-31. FEAR THE WOODS The sun is setting over the pumpkin patch and crazy uncle Eddie is missing and most likely, lurking the farm to scare off trespassers in the night. DEATH COMES IN THREES DaModd is a festival that celebrates Brooklyn culture through free expression and individual heightened creativity. Visitors are encouraged to participate in the 3v3 freestyle dance competition for the chance to win $1200. FAMILY FALL SPECTACULAR 2017 Have you “herd” the word? A horse lover’s Halloween paradise awaits at the Chastain Horse Park, a nonprofit committed to empowering horse riders of all abilities through the relationship with horses. Guests are encouraged to participate in the horse costume parade and competition, pony rides, petting zoo and a ride and relay race.
