NEWS BRIEF: Use of force by Atlanta Police gets its own website

A new, interactive database documenting instances of “use of force” by Atlanta police officers was unveiled this week by Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. The site also allows members of the public to issue complaints regarding police behavior. The Use of Force Dashboard aims to “improve transparency, increase trust between the public and APD, and facilitate fact-based discussions around police performance in the city of Atlanta.” justicereform.atlantaga.gov
