NEWS BRIEF: Atlanta Jamaicans helping out folks back home

Jamaica say you will

Members of the Atlanta Jamaican Association are planning 14 improvement projects in various parishes of their home country, involving refurbishment of clinics, hospitals, an infirmary, children’s homes, playgrounds and greenhouses, as well as providing school supplies. The overall project, called Rep Yuh Parish, “entails members teaming up and undertaking an impactful community project within the parish that they are most closely connected to by birth, heritage, or interest,” said Evette Taylor-Reynolds of the AJA. jamaica-gleaner.com
