From small things …
A six-year-old girl from southwest Atlanta is now the youngest farmer in Georgia to be certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Kendall Rae Johnson, who lives with her parents at an urban farm on Fairburn Road, has started an organization called “aGROWKulture” that aims to provide guidance to other kids on farming, agriculture, and gardening. “My goal is to make new things and inspire other kids,” she told an interviewer. Kendall recently hosted an event on her land that raised $85,000 for young farmers. abcnews.go.com
