Porsche facility gets wild

The Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta is augmenting its existing facility near the airport with a major expansion. The 33-acre development will add a restoration center, a parking deck and the now-completed service hub, and the racing track section will be enhanced with a 1.3 mile handling circuit. According to a press release, the track will have more approaching and descending turns; a low-friction, wetted 60 meter asphalt circle; an ice-hill, with a wet and slick surface along with an incline and decline to demonstrate traction control; and a dynamic area comprising 135 feet by 555 feet of asphalt to demonstrate handling capabilities. carscoops.com
