State health officials are running an isolation hotel for at least 50 virus patients who are homeless or live in places where disease can easily spread. The unidentified metro Atlanta facility has the capacity to add trailers if necessary. Cathryn Marchman of Partners for Home, an advocacy group for the homeless, calls the location “a tremendous accomplishment in aiding us in preventing the spread of infection among the homeless population.’’ gpb.org
