A work of art that shows Atlanta’s rich hip hop history has been unveiled by local artist Joseph Veazey. The Atlanta Rap Map project, three years in the making, is an effort to “honor and document something that often goes overlooked,” he said. Proceeds from sales are being donated to Hope Atlanta, a charity fighting homelessness. Veazey plans to update the map each year as new events occur and wants it to become “an iconic piece of art for the city.” itsnicethat.com
