The Atlanta Police Department is hosting a recruitment event at Lenox Square to “find dedicated, community-minded individuals to join its ranks and become part of our force for positive change in Atlanta.”
Attendees can prequalify outside Lenox Square’s Pottery Barn store and register to win a $250 gift card. Mayor Andre Dickens, Chief of Staff Odie Donald, and APD’s Deputy Chief Darin Schierbaum will be present at the event, to be held this Saturday, March 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dickens has promised to hire 250 cops during his first year in office. atlantapd.org
