A study conducted by CNBC ranked Georgia as the 11th worst place in the country in which to live. The network said it considered factors such as state laws regarding protections against discrimination and voting rights, crime rates, environmental quality, health, and child care to reach that conclusion.
However, the state fared better with higher scores in workforce, cost of living, economy, and as a place to do business. In the latter category, North Carolina came out on top with high scores in technology, economy, and access to capital. Details: 11alive.com
