Riazul continues to celebrate the legacy of family Matriarch, Maria Higina Gomez, who led Mexican rebels to freedom in their struggle against the Spanish in the Mexican War of Independence. The land she defended is the same land on which Riazul Agave is harvested today.
Join us for the launch of “La Chingona,” the first in a series of Riazul sponsored events honoring women who are breaking through and shaping their city’s cultural landscape.
