Annual Polar Bear Plunge

Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club (LCKC) is pleased to announce the 22nd edition of the chilly New Years Day tradition set for Wednesday, January 1st, 2020 at noon. Event will take place behind the boathouse at Lake Lanier Olympic Park.
This annual event is a fund-raising activity for non-profit LCKC which draws thrill seekers of all walks of life to jump into the cool waters of Lake Lanier to bring in the New Year.
The theme this year; Is Your Vision 20-20 for the New Year / Decade!
Pre-Registration is found on the LCKC website www.lckc.org. Check-In and On-site Registration opens at 10:45 AM. Please arrive before 11:30 AM. Jumping starts at High Noon.
Awards for best jump, best costume, youngest jumper, oldest jumper, biggest best glasses for the year and decade ahead (20-20)!
Chili and warm drinks included.
