You are cordially invited to come out to Emory University’s Candler School of Theology where The Cultural Center of The New Covenant Congregation of Israel will host a Black History Program entitled, “Medical Oppression”. We will feature a short documentary film based on Harriet Washington’s book entitled, “Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black Americans from Colonial Times to the Present.” Yosef Ben Yisrael the Elder Priest of the NCCI, will delve further into this topic during a lecture on the often-eluded Biblical connection between Black people and oppression. Your questions are welcomed during the Question and Answer segment and light refreshments will be served. We look forward to seeing you there!
