The Southeastern Climber’s Coalition, a grass-roots organization dedicated to preserving climbing areas in the southeast, brings “Float the Boat” 2020, a climbing competition. Presented by Organic Climbing and Modern Woodmen of America, the event will be at Boat Rock Preserve, a small urban boulder field known for its unique granite boulders. With 11 categories to compete in, including kids, Iron Man and Maiden, and Rock Gods (over age 45), there’s a place for everyone. Ticket purchases include perks like a t-shirt, a swag bag, and after-party admission.
