ATL1000 - Celebrate 1000 murals in Atlanta
Did you know that Atlanta now has more than 1000 murals? In September and October the ATL1000 campaign will honor the artists who created these distinctive works through the following programs:
1. A new celebratory mural at the entrance to the Krog Street Tunnel
2. A series of murals by Black women artists curated by Power Haus Creative
3. Digital projections featuring Atlanta’s artists at four downtown locations
4. Live video feed from the Forward Warrior mural painting event
5. Self-guided street art walking tours
ATL1000 will give Atlanta’s residents and visitors a free, safe, outdoor street art experience where social distancing can be practiced. Please check the website for details and locations.
