We will be having FREE group dog walks and want you to attend. We are welcoming all dog parents as well as groomers, pet store owners, trainers and dog walkers! Enjoy a walk with other dog lovers.

Located off Collier Rd near the intersection of Overbrook Dr

Enters the park from the intersection of Walthall Dr NW and Colland Dr

To access the park via car, there’s an entrance off Collier Road, directly across from where Overbrook Drive meets Collier. You will probably (i.e. most likely) miss the entrance because it’s around a rather tight bend in the road and the parking lot is on a steep incline, so make sure that when you do find it, go in there slowly! When you walk into the park, it’s almost like you’re not even in Atlanta anymore. It is unbelievably quiet and beautiful. On the Tanyard Creek Park side, you get a rather straight trail with a playground, perfect areas to hang your hammock or read a book, a very large field where people often take their dogs out to play, a really cool railroad bridge you walk under, another playground, and a path that ends at some town homes. On the other side, you get a winding trail, some cool street art (can I call it that?), more nature, and the trail ends along the edge of a golf course and some town homes.
