April is National Poetry Month! To celebrate, the Sandy Springs Library is holding a Teen Poetry Slam. This event is open to any teen in the Sandy Springs area and offers a public platform for local students to showcase their talents on stage. Each reader will be limited to 5-7 minutes (depending on number of people participating).
To participate you’ll need to register (please use the “More Information” link).
Attendance is open to teen poets, their family and friends, and anyone who enjoys poetry and wants to encourage up-and-coming talent.
