From the venue:

City Winery Atlanta presents ATL Collective Preservation Series: Relive The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, curated by ATL Collective, on Saturday June 18 at 7 PM.

Lauryn Hill’s 1998 Album of the Year-winning masterpiece captured the spotlight from the male-dominated hip-hop mainstream and introduced themes of female identity and sexuality. Infusing themes of love, personal turmoil, and individuality into the traditionally materialistic-focused genre of rap, Hill’s solo debut draws from soul, R&B and reggae influences to showcase the depth of her voice and blaze a path forward for the next generations of hip hop artists.

ATL C presents "Miseducation" performed by local Atlanta artists: come discover your new favorite artists while singing your old favorite songs. Ticket sales support our nonprofit mission of growing the stage for Atlanta's music community via four core programs: the Preservation Series, Hump Day Hangs, Camp Collective, and the With The Band Fund.
