In their short tenure, Hive Mind has emerged as one of the crown jewels of
the underground instrumental movement. To this day they remain elusive,
emerging a few times a year for their legendary marathon improv sets. But
to those in the know, the music has been going extraordinary
places…multiple genres all get their moment in the sun, with the bands
distinct personality shining through. Hive Mind has performed landmark
gigs around the south including at the iconic Spirit of Suwannee, Variety
Playhouse, Terminal West, and packed clubs from the Blue Ridge
Mountains to the Rockies. Outside Hive Mind, each band member has
toured heavily all over the country playing some of the biggest stages,
festivals, and clubs in the US. This project finds them joining forces to do
what they do best…creating once in a lifetime musical experiences.
