Core Dance welcomes Georgians to enjoy a free artist’s reception and artist talk for REEL Art Gesture 2, which features the work of Michael Eckblad, on November 18th at 8pm. Eckblad shares the following about his film, Liberation Energy:

“In 2015 I began producing a body of work under the project name HOne, a reference to the hydrogen’s atomic structure. The lightest element in the periodic table, hydrogen simultaneously embodies humanity’s risk and hope as we evolve our energy footprint away from fossil fuels and towards sources that are sustainable and operate in harmony with the natural world. This latest incarnation, Liberation Energy, brings the visual experience of hydrogen-as-fuel in close contact with bodies and life forces. In demystifying that physical reality, we are invited to place of curiosity as we collectively pursue a brighter future.”
