The second annual Environmental Justice and Climate Protection Conference is set to take place on June 15th, 2023 from 8 AM to 5 PM. It will be held at the Klamon Room in the Claudia Nance Rollins Building of Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health in Atlanta, GA and is free as well as open to all. This event is jointly organized by Science for Georgia, Dogwood Alliance, Center for Black Women’s Wellness (CBWW), and Emory’s Center for Children’s Health Assessment, Research Translation, and Combating Environmental Racism (CHARTER). There will be a diverse array of stakeholders, including community leaders, concerned citizens, elected officials, academics, and industry experts, in attendance. With the shared goal of fostering environmental health and justice, participants will collaborate to identify innovative solutions and create lasting positive change for all Georgians.
