From the venue:

Who would have thought that 13th-century monks could dream up such naughty poems? But they did. And the discovery of their dusty manuscripts sent the 20th-century composer Carl Orff down the proverbial rabbit hole. He dreamed up a hair-raising cantata in Carmina Burana — and the rest is history. Soloists Janai Brugger, Miles Mykkanen, and Anthony Clark Evans join the internationally acclaimed Atlanta Symphony Chorus to sing this curiously beguiling homage to springtime and earthly pleasure. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra welcomes the debut of Polish conductor Krzysztof Urbański. The program includes the irresistibly tuneful — and rarely-performed — Concerto for Orchestra by his fellow countryman Witold Lutosławski.
