Join President and Executive Director, Christine Kuan for an information session, in advance of the upcoming Creative Capital grant application cycle opening in 2024!

Creative Capital provides grants up to $50,000 to individual artists to support the creation of groundbreaking new projects. Innovation is the primary selection criterion, with a focus on championing groundbreaking projects and ideas, which distinguishes Creative Capital from other granting organizations. Creative Capital is committed to funding and supporting conceptually and formally interesting, challenging, risk-taking, never-before-seen projects.

Grants are awarded via a democratic, national, open call, external review process. Awardees receive direct project funding up to $50,000, professional advisory services, and community-building opportunities. Funding is unrestricted and may be used on any expenses related to the creation of the project, including but not limited to: staffing, supplies, computers, software, studio repairs, childcare, healthcare, mental health care, travel, research, and more. In advance of the upcoming application cycle, opening in 2024, come learn about Creative Capital’s grants and services for artists working in all disciplines.

Artists who have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience are eligible for grants and other services.
