CRITIC’S PICK: If there was an award for whoever played Eddie’s Attic the most, Athens’ Randall Bramblett would be in the running. Regardless, his shows featuring music from a solo career that started in the mid-70s but picked up steam in 1998 and hasn’t let up, are always classy and sold-out. This one is extra special since it’s a record release gig for Bramblett’s new one, Paradise Breakdown. The album is his first in four years and another in a series of thoughtful, soulful, Southern jazz and blues tinged indie rockers with poetic, often offbeat lyrics sung in Bramblett’s distinctive dusky voice over subtly bubbling music.
