Join us this Saturday, March 30 at 2 p.m. for an Artist Talk with Michael Jones and Alan Grostephan! Jones will be discussing his current exhibition on view in whitespec, “Doughnuts in the Night.”
Michael Jones has painted murals in public spaces throughout the U.S. and recently completed a five-story mural in Decatur, GA. A recent large mosaic design was selected for the MARTA station at the Hartsfield/Jackson Atl Airport.
Jones received his bachelor’s degree in Painting & Sculpture from the Atl College of Art in 1998.
Alan Grostephan is the author of The Banana Wars and of Bogotá, a novel chosen by the Wall Street Journal as one of the best ten books of fiction in 2013 and long-listed for the Pen/Robert W. Bingham Prize. He is also the editor and translator of Stories of Life and Death, a collection of writing by emerging Colombian writers. He is an associate professor of English at Agnes Scott College.
