Canadian actor and comedian Kevin McDonald, famed for his role in The Kids in the Hall, was born in Montreal, Quebec. Moving to LA at seven, he later met Dave Foley in Toronto, forming the comedy duo. The Kids in the Hall aired on CBC, HBO, and CBS from 1988 to 1995, featuring surreal sketches and characters like the Head Crusher and Buddy Cole. The show earned Emmy and Gemini nominations, winning two Geminis. Post-Kids, McDonald starred in "Brain Candy" and appeared in various films and TV shows, including voice roles in animated series. He's candid about his personal struggles, drawing inspiration from his father for sketches and his one-man show "Hammy and the Kids".
