Enjoy a variety of live performances by some of Atlanta’s most beloved children’s musicians and storytellers in this engaging series. Shows take place Fridays, May through September at 10 and 10:45 a.m.
Taught by teaching artists from The Atlanta Opera, Opera Storytime is perfectly suited for young ones as their first venture into the world of opera. This program will explore the early literacy skills of singing, playing, talking and reading. Founded in 1979, The Atlanta Opera has celebrated opera for over 40 years. The Atlanta Opera works with world-renowned singers, conductors, directors, and designers who seek to enhance the art form.
Free with Garden Membership or Admission; no show reservations are required.

This program is located on the Great Lawn under the shade of the elm trees.
Bring a picnic blanket or ground cover if desired, as the grass can be damp in the morning.
Please see our program greeter on the Great Lawn starting 10 minutes before each session.
