CRITIC’S PICK: Atlanta Art Week, multiple venues - Here is just a taste of what’s being crammed into this week-long affair, now in its third year: a film screening at the Tara from the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture; a “monumental” evening of art installations, live performances, exhibitions and open studios at the Goat Farm under the moniker SITE, including the premiere of ‘Another World Is Possible’ by Branden Collins, Yoo & Friends; a solo presentation by Los Angeles-based artist Hana Ward of her new body of work - titled Cowpea Consciousness - at the OCHI gallery; a meet-and-greet with 30 artists at Atlanta Contemporary; and an installation by Nicholas Galanin at the Carlos Museum. Add to that a bunch of panel discussions, receptions and other gatherings with collectors and enthusiasts all over town. The full schedule is listed on the Atlanta Art Week website - Kevin C. Madigan
