THE CHRISTMAS CHAIN - Directed by Dale Fabrigar| This feature film follows Dez and Jerome, twin brothers with contrasting personalities, as they journey home for Christmas after Jerome’s serious kidney injury. On a train ride marked by a chance encounter with Sabrina, a kind-hearted musician, and an unexpected stop at a remote diner run by Tom, a reclusive man also in need of a kidney transplant, their Christmas takes a heartwarming turn. Amidst festive celebrations and the sharing of personal stories, Sabrina’s generous offer to donate a kidney to Jerome sparks a chain of generosity, leading Dez to consider donating his kidney to someone else in the program, potentially matching with Tom. This act of kindness transforms the diner’s atmosphere, leading to a grand Christmas celebration at the brothers’ home, attended by all the new friends they’ve made. The story concludes with the successful kidney donations among the group, capturing the spirit of giving and the creation of lifelong bonds.
