Each Magic Lantern house concert features live creative/experimental/improvisational music. The lineup for this Saturday’s edition (Vol. 126) includes Iriamu, who combines traditional instruments, field recordings and found sounds to create wondrously ambient soundscapes; Alex Alex Cohen, a musician, instrument designer, performance artist and researcher who spent faculty time at Georgia Tech; seasoned improviser, performance artist and former impresaria of No Tomorrow Priscilla Smith; electroacoustic sound artist Ipek Engili; and Magic Lantern host Majid Araim.
