I’m With Her, Ye Vagabonds Tabernacle—Call them the Crosby, Stills and Nash of the contemporary Americana singer/songwriter crowd because the combination of individual headliners Sarah Jarosz, Sara Watkins, and Aoife O’Donovan results in similar sumptuous harmonies and beautifully crafted music as made famous by the 60s threesome. These veteran musicians just released their near universally praised second album as a group (all have relatively recent solo sets too) titled Wild and Clear and Blue (also the name of this tour) showing that this concept wasn’t a one-off. The all-acoustic trio huddles around a single centrally-placed microphone, just like the old bluegrass acts, further emphasizing a commitment to unifying their voices in a whole that truly is better than the sum of its already impressive parts. Their original songs shimmer and glow and the performance is filled with positivity, making this rare show a must-see for anyone even tangentially interested in the folk/country/Americana genre. — Hal Horowitz
