And the Italiani exploitation director that towers above the rest for sheer audacity and the willingness to friggin GO THERE is Lucio Fulci. Join us as Atlanta Film Freak Society presents three of the Godfather of Gore’s most sought after gut munchers… Zombie (1979) has a show stopping shark vs zombie sequence that will leave you breathless. House by the Cemetery (1981) takes the “haunted house” film to delirious bloody heights. And the psychedelic sword and sorcery flick Conquest (1983) is like an LSD laced fever dream that has to be experienced late at night in a darkened theater to get the full effect. FULCI LIVES!
