It centers around an upper-middle class family, The Bonners. When tragedy strikes their home, the family dynamic is shifted to mourning and restoration. Because of Mr. Bonner being financially savvy and responsible with his finances throughout his career, he has left his family a "sizeable inheritance". With news of this wealth travelling faster than Sha' Carri Richardson's hair, the family is forced with the task of discerning between friend or foe.
