Join The Bakery Atlanta on May 3rd from 12 PM to 5 PM at The Supermarket for Interwoven, a group exhibition and day of programming. In partnership with artist Cassie Short and Atlanta's textiles community, this event explores the role of textiles and fiber arts in activism through an exhibition, demos, workshops, artist talks, and community engagement. This is also a coalescing off-site event a part of MAPSpace's project The Future Belongs to the Loving.

The event will run from 12PM to 5PM with some artist-led demos taking place at specific times throughout. Please see the below schedule for exact itenerary:
- 12:00pm - Gallery opens: American Tapestry Alliance, Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild, and Cassie Short begin demos, and Fiber Parts starts their supply swap - bring supplies you'd like to share with the community!
- 1:00 - 2:00pm - Timed Demos: Quilting and appliqué for protest banners with Kenny Oaster, Weaving Photographs with Johanna Norry
- 2:00 - 3:00pm - Artist talk with Camisha Butler and Husna Abubakar, moderated by Roshani Thakore
- 3:00 - 4:00pm - Timed Demos: Backstrap weaving with Jamie Rosegren, AdaCad Software demo with Eric Dwyer
- 4:00 - 5:00pm - Community Art-Making: Amanda Norris, Assistant Director at The Bakery Atlanta, will lead guests in a banner making activity that will live permanently as an installation at The Supermarket.
