Author, Performance Artist Miss Milan Debuts "Agency"

Atlanta-based artist and creative visionary Miss Milan will debut her long awaited solo exhibition, “Agency,” at Rampart Art Gallery, 1200 Foster St NW Suite 119, Atlanta, GA 30318. More than an art show, Agency is a personal reckoning—a story of reclamation, authorship, and the audacity to be both the muse and the maker.

Born from over 15 years of experience in the modeling industry and a personal reckoning with creative ownership, “Agency” is a deeply intimate and multidimensional body of work exploring power, identity, and the evolution of the muse. It is a reclamation of voice in an industry that often insists models be seen but not heard.  

“There comes a moment in every artist’s life when the choice must be made: to step in fully—or to walk away,” says Milan. “Agency was born the day I chose myself.”

The exhibition confronts the often invisible boundary between subject and storyteller. Traditionally, models are cast as voiceless figures within the frame—stripped of narrative and reduced to aesthetic. Agency exists to challenge and dismantle the systems that strip subjects of their story, spirit, and sovereignty.
