Quiet Hounds,Pasadena, Terminal West — It has been a while since Atlanta sextet Quiet Hounds have released a full album. But they dropped a batch of singles over the past few years all of which emphasize a dreamy, melodic, pop/rock approach. They have been at it since their 2011 debut, crafting lovely, often sing-along, upbeat music that’s smoothly enjoyable. We’ll assume they are ready to release a new album soon. It’s a fresh, optimistic, often buoyant sound and the affable Hounds have the stage experience and enticing lead singer to make it click. — Hal Horowitz
