Event Description

The time immemorial Nashville musician Nick Govrik, AKA “Nicky G,” is best known as the bassist, vocalist, and primary songwriter for the country soul, rock ’n’ roll super group Trigger Hippy, which he co-founded with Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman and included artists Joan Osborne and Jackie Greene. He has played alongside many legendary artists and musicians and has been a fixture in the Nashville music scene since his days in the good-time boogie-woogie band Highwater, which had a local cult-like following in the ‘90s. After decades of writing songs for his bands, Govrik has released his debut solo effort “One More Time For The Man”.
