An Evening With Faye Webster and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra

The Faye Webster Invitational, The Eastern & Piedmont Park - Atlanta singer Faye Webster is hosting a short series of sports and music events that will play out over the last weekend in October. A LiveBall tennis tournament open to intermediate and experienced players will kick off at Piedmont Park on Saturday. The next day at the Eastern, a dozen yoyo masters from around the world will show off their myriad skills; Webster will play a set that evening, supported by indie rocker Benét as well as Erika de Casier, a Portuguese-born Danish singer, songwriter and record producer. On Sunday morning, also at the Eastern, Webster will host 100 competitors for a chess tourney using the Swiss system with a knockout format. — Kevin C. Madigan
