Third-Annual Westside Stride Block Party

Taking place along Howell Mill Road between 8th Street and 17th Street, the Westside Stride event route is dotted with live music and DJs, as well as vendor and artist booths, children’s activities, food trucks and much more to discover along the way. The streets are closed to vehicles throughout the event, but pedestrians, bicycles, strollers, rollers and scooters are welcome.

For the kids, the third-annual event features a petting zoo and pony rides, courtesy of QTS Data Centers. Families will also find a variety of free bounce houses and a pumpkin patch for perusing, purchasing and taking that perfect fall photo.

On multiple music stages, attendees will encounter performances or DJs highlighting a medley of musical genres. A pop-up market includes art, craft and maker booths offering items ranging from self-care and home goods to vintage finds, and attendees can also discover and support the many shops the district has to offer. 

Known for its restaurants, the Westside is the perfect place to explore award-winning culinary styles. Additionally, visitors will find food trucks and vendors on-site to increase the dining and beverage offerings. 

While Westside Stride is all about hitting the pavement, attendees arriving by vehicle will find plenty of nearby parking options. To make it easy, organizers have created a parking map for the area: https://upperwestsideatl.org/parking/ with many parking decks offering discounted $10 parking for the whole day.
