He was born on October 29, 1974, in Karachi, Pakistan. Faisal Kapadia is best known as one half of the popular music duo, Strings, which he formed with Bilal Maqsood in 1988. Strings is one of the most successful bands in Pakistan, known for their fusion of eastern and western music. Some of their most popular songs include "Sar Kiye Yeh Pahar", "Duur", "Dhaani", and "Zinda".
